Many Raynes Park residents will have received a flyer through the post, notifying us of a public consultation for a new planning application at Rainbow Industrial Estate, if you've not received anything, this is what the flyer said:
Fairview New Homes has acquired interest in the Rainbow industrial Estate next door to Raynes Park railway station. a site which already has planning permission for redevelopment from Merton Council.
Fairview will submit a new application at this highly sustainable site to deliver new homes in response to the borough's significant and unmet housing need whilst retaining those parts of the 2014 scheme already built.
We will be seeking your comments on our emerging plans and vision for the site.
The consultation will run from 22 April to 6 May 2025 and will be hosted via a dedicated project website, with an in-person exhibition also being held.
You will be able to view the plans at www.rainbowindustrialestate.co.uk
Public exhibition: Tuesday 29 April from 3pm to 7pm
Where: The Social Space, The Pavilion SW20 Ltd, Raynes Park Sports Ground, Taunton Avenue, Raynes Park, SW20 OBH

THE RAINBOW INDUSTRIAL ESTATE IS SITUATED ON LAND DIRECTLY TO THE SOUTH WEST OF RAYNES PARK RAILWAY STATION.
The site is bounded by railway lines on all sides. To the north are the elevated main London – Southampton line and the southbound platforms serving Raynes Park Station. To the west is the northbound Epsom – Waterloo/Raynes Park line.
